FRANKLIN, Tenn., July 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Healthcare Trust Incorporated (NYSE: CHCT) (the "Company") announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 4,250,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price per share of $23.45, for net proceeds of approximately $94.6 million after deducting the underwriting discount and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by the Company. All of the shares of common stock being offered by the Company will trade on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "CHCT."
The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 637,500 shares of common stock. The offering is expected to close on July 26, 2017.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds to repay the outstanding indebtedness under the Company's revolving credit facility, to fund future acquisitions in accordance with the Company's investment guidelines, and for general corporate and working capital purposes.
Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P., Evercore ISI and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. BB&T Capital Markets, Fifth Third Securities and Janney Montgomery Scott are acting as co-lead managers for the offering.
